More Great TripIt Coverage
I continue to be very flattered and grateful for the coverage TripIt has been getting. We've been working very hard and it's extremely gratifying to hear from folks who are using the service and actually finding it useful!

Pennies per Mile
It's ridiculously expensive and therefore not worth actually buying, but it's exciting to see how technical innovation, and the market, will drive us to pursue technology that helps us all have less of an impact on Mother Earth. Maybe once they start making and selling more of them the Vectrix (or the Japanese/Korean/Chinese competition that is sure to follow) will be a real option to the more traditional and messy petro-chemical powered engines we have all become addicted to. Seems like they did their first public test drives this week in San Francisco, where else!

My New 2-wheeled Vehicle?
I recently got rear-ended while on my motorcycle by a car a block and a half from my house. The guy's insurance company called the bike a total loss and so I am now bike-less. I think I may have found my new 2-wheeled vehicle.

Email Productivity
I found this really entertaining and useful video on email productivity today. Like many folks, I get a LOT of email and dealing with it takes up a pretty substantial part of my day. I'm trying some of the techniques Merlin presents but I have to admit it's hard to have enough discipline to ignore the little alert that flashes every minute or so when I get a new message.
This talk comes out of the 43Folders Inbox Zero series which is worth a read as well. Enjoy!
