Is there anything similar for PHP? Also, the api url must have changed - if I use https/tripit.api.com I get a 401 error.

Great I found this post for some "take you by the hand" advise regarding OAuth and TripIt.

I read the TripIt API documentation and the OAuth specs. together with this post. I was wondering: in your final step, "Using an Authorized Access Token" you have the "auth_token_secret" (which must be the authorized token_secret we just got back from the provider) in your signature base string and in your authentication header?

This is not the case in either the Tripit API documentation or the OAuth specs. It would also make it a bit easier to do a man-in-the-middle-attack if the authorized token secret was exchanged between consumer and provider at each request.

Could it be a "copy-paste" typo?
